Notes From The Scenic Route

A desk with various papers, notebooks, and a book titled 'Save me an orange' by Hayley Grace. There are handwritten notes in a notebook, vintage postcards, a photograph of a woman, and a pen. A phone is also on the desk, connected to a charging cable.

An almost weekly note for the online business owner or content creator who wants her marketing to feel sustainable and intentional with Pinterest strategy, sustainable marketing tips, and real talk about building a business around a full life.

DELIVERED ON THURSDAYS

The weekly newsletter includes notes about:

  • Pinterest strategy

  • Sustainable marketing tips

  • Pinterest content creation tips

  • CEO things

  • Life in motherhood while running a business

  • Lessons learned along the journey

Road trips are my favorite way to travel —

There's something about taking the slow way, where you actually see the views, have the conversations, and get the quality time you'd miss if you just flew straight to the destination. That's how I think about marketing, too, especially something like Pinterest. It's not a quick flight to instant results. It's the scenic route: slower, but you actually get to enjoy the ride and build something sustainable and long-term.

Hi, I’m Sarah!

Pinterest strategist, mom of two, and writer of notes from the scenic route

I'm a teacher turned business owner, now a mom, just trying to build a sustainable business around the family's schedule.

Most days, I don't have time or energy to record a video, but over the past 3 years in business, working behind the scenes for over 25+ business owners, I've learned there are soooo many ways you can market your business.

Notes from The Scenic Route is my favorite spot to connect with other business owners who are just trying to navigate marketing alongside everything else in the day-to-day of running a business. If you want someone in your corner as you figure things out, meet me in your inbox!
